Family Owned and Operated Since 2008
At Roseburg Pet Crematorium, we believe every pet deserves to be treated with the same love, dignity, and respect they brought to your family throughout their life. Since 2008, we have been honored to help families throughout Oregon say goodbye with compassion, integrity, and exceptional care.
What makes us different is simple, we're a true family business.
Our founder, Dr. Blair Bailey, DVM, Founder & Community Relations Director, established Roseburg Pet Crematorium after recognizing the need for a locally owned pet aftercare provider that offered the same level of compassion families receive from their veterinarian. With more than 50 years in veterinary medicine and a lifetime spent caring for animals, Dr. Blair remains dedicated to supporting our community and the veterinary professionals who entrust us with their clients.
Our owner, AJ Bailey, CVT, Owner & Director of Operations, has more than 30 years of veterinary experience and has devoted the past 18 years to pet aftercare. Having experienced the loss of her own beloved pet Nikki in 2007 and waiting 5 weeks for her ashes to come home, AJ understands firsthand how important it is to return pets home to their families as quickly and respectfully as possible. She personally oversees our daily operations, ensuring every pet receives compassionate, individualized care and that every family can have complete confidence in our process.
Continuing our family's commitment is Abigail Corona, Business Manager and granddaughter of AJ Bailey. Abigail helps oversee the day-to-day business operations while carrying forward the values of compassion, integrity, and personalized service that have guided our family from the beginning. Her involvement reflects our commitment to remaining a family-owned business for generations to come.
The heart of our team also includes Linda Bruinsma, AJ's mom and our Artisan Treat Maker. Linda is known for brightening the days of veterinary clinic teams with her homemade baked treats, bringing smiles and a little extra kindness wherever she goes.
Also, part of our family team is Harold Bruinsma, AJ's dad and one of our dedicated Aftercare Transportation Specialists. After retiring from a career as a professional truck driver, Harold now serves families and veterinary clinics along his own transportation route, delivering the same dependable, respectful care that has always defined his work.
Together, three generations of our family combine decades of veterinary knowledge with a genuine understanding of the human animal bond. We know your pet is more than an animal, they are family. Every pet entrusted to our care is treated with the same respect, compassion, and dignity we would expect for our own.
